Well the main thing is, Make sure all your fluids are cecekhd regularly. A lot of the problems that I see everyday are due to people just not checking there fluid level. 2nd, make sure you change your fluid on time every time. This will cut down on carbon build up in your engine, premature wear on your transmission, etc 3rd, get a maintance schedule to go by, that way you will have a idea of what needs to be done at a perticular time and you can figure the cost a head of time. 4th, don't use your car for what it's not designed for, I'm in south carolina, so I know you've seen small cars towing trailers behind them.
